Arand, Ruth Rosalie Spieker (nee Novak), baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the age of 77. Dearest wife of the late Albert Spieker (1st husband) and Kenneth Arand (2nd husband); dear daughter of the late Arthur Novak and the late Emily Link Novak; cutest mother of Albert Spieker, Gerald Spieker, Edward (Sandra) Spieker, Janet Stock, Jim (Doris) Spieker, Mary (Ralph) Kister, Theresa (Thomas) Schmitt; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; dearest sister of Audrey Sax and Kenneth Novak; dear sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. She is preceded in death by Virginia Walsh, sister. She was a member of St. Charles Senior Center, St. Peters Church. She loved playing cards with family and friends, reading and crocheting.
