Robert Casper Obituary

Casper, Robert, 85, of Plantation, FL, passed away on May 15, 2011. He was born in Carbondale, IL and attended East Technical High School, followed by two years of college. He then served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and privately pursued aviation training, becoming a pilot. He retired after 28 years of service with Eastern Airlines, moving up through the ranks until he became Captain. He is survived by his children, Judith L. Casper Humphrey of Woodbridge, VA, Nancy (Mark) Casper Hillis of Winter Park, and Robert (Melanie) Casper of Boca Raton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dolores, "Dolly". Private family services will be held. In his memory the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association in his name. The memories of holidays and Bob falling asleep on the couch after some turkey and mashed potatoes. His "take charge" voice and attitude. Boy we will surely miss him But we all have such wonderful memories. Rest In Peace Bob..you gave so much for so many years. And give a big hug to Dolly for me.
