Lorenzo Brooks Obituary
Lorenzo Brooks, 61, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Memorial service will be 11 AM, Sat., March 28, 2015 at Strong & Jones Chapel.
Lorenzo graduated from Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry in 1978. He became a member of the Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in 1982.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Brooks; stepchildren, Wendall Jenkins (Mary), Fredrick Jenkins (Jackie), Roderick Holmes, Eureka Jenkins, Kelvin Jenkins, Freddie Glover (Stephanie), Eddie Glover, Trina Rollins (Leroy) and Rezeaia Glover; brother, Devine Watson; sister, Maxine Nicholson and a host of other relatives and friends.

A letter to Lo. Dear Lo. This is your Brother-in-law, Otis Girardeau, that is what you always called me. I am sadden to learn of your passing. Enjoyed our chance encounter at the McDonalds when I was working in that part of the state and the talk we had outside your home where we exchanged phone numbers. As with many things in life, we think time is on our side, but it does not always work out that way. May you rest in peace. Brother-in-law.
