Lucas BECKENSTEIN Obituary

BECKENSTEIN, Lucas 26, of Tampa, passed away suddenly Oct. 7, 2012. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonard & Sonia Beckenstein; and his maternal grandfather, Milton Meyer-owitz. He is survived by his mother, Amy Magliulo & her husband, James; his father, Dr. Charles Beckenstein & his wife, Dr. Janet Seper; two sisters, Sonja & Zoe Beckenstein; and his maternal grandmother, Pauline Meyerowitz. Lucas was a 2005 graduate of Plant High School and attended Florida State University for two years. He had a creative spirit, a love for art & enjoyed extreme sports. Prior to his untimely passing, he was a Barista with Starbucks in Tampa where he will be greatly missed. He had the most amazing smile, the biggest heart and such a zest for life. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend who will be forever missed. A visitation will be held from 3-6 pm, Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, MacDill Chapel, 605 South MacDill Ave, Tampa, with a service to follow at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Turning Point of Tampa, 6227 Sheldon Road, Tampa, 33615, in Lucas's memory. Words of comfort may be expressed by visiting: www.blountcurrymacdill.com
