Frances REHM Obituary

REHM, Frances Madeline

Smeja ageless, of Dunedin, FL. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and best friend went home to the ultimate Christmas celebration on December 24, 2016. She was born in Great Neck, NY, and moved to Florida in 1958, loving mother of three children, Greg (Kathleen), Pam, and Scott (Mary); five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by mother, Madeline; father, Stephen Smeja, and brother, Stephen Smeja of Great Neck.

Fran was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She worked with her daughter Pam as a sales representative in the golf industry since 1984. Fran was a member of the Clearwater Women's Club. She loved gardening and flowers of all types. Fran was so much more than just beautiful. Everyone she met loved her. Although words can't describe our feeling of loss, knowing our mom was with Jesus for Christmas warms our hearts.

The family will be receiving friends at Sylvan Abbey, 2853 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, FL 33759 on Thursday, January 5 from 5-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 750 San Salvador Dr., Dunedin, FL 34698 on Friday, January 6 at 10:30 am, followed by a graveside inurnment at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater.
