Lib C. Rogers

Lib C. Rogers, 82, died May 9, 2011, at the Hamrick Home in Okeechobee. He had been a resident of Okeechobee since 1988. He served in the Air Force. He was employed as an engineer with NASA for 39 years. He was a past commander of VFW Post 10539, the American Legion, the Moose Lodge and the Eagles. Survivors include his son, Richard Rogers of Seattle, Wash.; daughter, Christine Kennedy of West River, Md.; brother, Vince Rogers of Charleston, W.Va.; sisters, Jane Finucan and Mary Alice Guinet; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elveda Rogers. Services: There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are by Buxton Funeral Home in Okeechobee.
