Patricia Carolyn Shutack

Patricia Carolyn Shutack, 82, died May 16, 2011, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. She was born in Hoboken, N.J., and was a winter resident of Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Burr Ridge, Ill. She was a life trustee of the Providence St. Mel School and a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Hinsdale, Ill., and The Moorings Club in Vero Beach. She graduated from Purdue University. Survivors include her husband, John Shutack; children, Kathleen McDonnell, Mary Duffy-Pelzer, Daniel Duffy, David Shutack and Nora Duffy; and seven grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Providence St. Mel School, 119 S. Central Park Blvd., Chicago, IL 60624-2998. Services: A memorial service will be in Chicago later. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
