Ruth Inhoff Obituary
Vero Beach, FL
Ruth Rollason Inhoff, 69, passed away on December 11, 2015 at her home in Vero Beach, FL surrounded by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert B. Inhoff, and her two daughters Rebecca Morgan of San Jose, California and Karen Anthony of Wellington, Florida. Ruth was the daughter of Ruth Templeton Rollason and the late John Wales Rollason.
In addition to her husband, daughters and mother, Ruth leaves behind two sons-in-law, Steven Morgan and Neil Anthony and five grandsons, Aidan, Connor, and Benjamin Morgan; Christopher and Justin Anthony. Ruth is also survived by three sisters, Christie Rollason-Reese, Elizabeth Rollason Bonis, and Lori Rollason.
Born in Middletown Ct, Ruth attended Woodrow Wilson Senior High School in Middletown. She was a 1968 graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in teaching and home economics, and received a Master's Degree from West Virginia University. Ruth dedicated most of her career to corporate training and adult education.
Ruth touched many lives through her strong commitment to various community organizations including, most recently, GFWC Treasure Coast Women, The Source, and The Board of Missions of Community Church of Vero Beach. She loved nature and enjoyed capturing its beauty through her photography.
Ruth enjoyed great friendship and fellowship during her time in Vero Beach as well as in her previous communities of Pittsburgh, PA, Gaithersburg, MD, and Eden Prairie, MN. Ruth has been described by her many friends as kind, caring, and filled with understanding for others. She lived with grace and elegance. She had a gentle way and amazing acceptance of all life's journey. Ruth's spirit and love of beauty and family were great gifts to all who knew her. Our world has lost a truly loving and gentle presence.
A memorial service to celebrate Ruth's life will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Community Church of Vero Beach, 1901 23rd Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Community Church of Vero Beach or the Scholarship Fund of the GFWC Treasure Coast Women's Club.
