Frances Charron Obituary

Frances M. (LaMarche) Valois Charron, 68, of Auburn, died on Sunday, March 13, 2011, in her home after a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 26 years, Henry A. Charron; 2 children: Carol J. (Valois) Damico of Sutton and Jonathan A. Valois of Auburn; 5 stepchildren: Thomas A. Charron of Woodstock, GA, James A. Charron of Westborough, Steven A. Charron of Sutton, Laurie A. (Charron) Kuhn of North Attleboro, and Michael A. Charron of Buckley, WA; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne Valois of Millbury, a brother, Robert LaMarche of Westborough, and a sister, Carol (LaMarche) Silvestris Stoneback of Shrewsbury. She was born in Worcester on March 23, 1942, a daughter of the late Clarence F. and Albina M. (Bleau) LaMarche and lived in Millbury before moving to Auburn in 1985. She was a graduate of Holy Name of Jesus High School, Worcester.

Mrs. Charron worked as a bookkeeper for several area businesses for 10 years. She also worked as a nanny for a number of families in the area. She enjoyed travel, but her greatest joy came from spending as much time as possible with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be private. There are no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Millbury, is directing the arrangements.

Carol, Beth Anne and Jaime,
So sorry about your loss. I witnessed the love Frannie had for you three, but also the joy she expressed at being a Great-Grandma. You all blessed her life and she knew she was loved and appreciated. In time the wonderful memories you all shared will be a great comfort to you. Take care of each other. Love, Bud and Claudette

Hank, We were sorry to hear of Frannie's passing. So glad that you both came to Alaska for a visit several years ago. Our visit with you both, last year, was very special. She was fortunate to have you as her loving care-giver. May God give you the blessings you will need to get through this difficult time.
Love, Bud and Claudette
