Brian Boulay, 34

AUBURN, MA/ IRELAND - Brian Boulay, 34, of Dublin, Ireland formally from Auburn, MA passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 9th at his home of an acute asthma attack.

Brian leaves behind his precious 3-year-old daughter, Maeve of Ireland, his loving parents, Rahn and Joan (Hardy) Boulay of Auburn, his beloved sister, Kelly and her husband Brendan Kach of Worcester and his former wife, Adriana O'Connor of Ireland. Brian also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Brian was raised in Auburn, graduated from St. John's High School in 2002 and Merrimack College in 2007. Following college, Brain played professional hockey for the Reading Royals, the Fort Wayne Komets and Blooming Thunder. After his retirement from hockey, Brian worked for PTC in Needham and most recently for Oracle in Dublin in software sales.

Brian enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in America and vacationing at the family home in Falmouth, Cape Cod. Brian's ultimate joy came from his little princess, Maeve. They shared so many memorable outings together. Maeve was his whole world and he was the most amazing and devoted Daddy to her.

Brian will always be remembered for his huge smile, his quick wit and his kind and generous heart. He had a deep love and concern for his family and friends. Brian's memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Brian's family on Sunday June 17, 2018 from 2-5 PM at BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn. His funeral will be on Monday June 18, 2018 with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St, Worcester. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Maeve Boulay Family Fund c/o Saver's Bank, 38 Auburn Street, Auburn, MA 01501. I am so sorry to hear this news. My daughter lived next to Brian on Eastford Road. Her daughter was born shortly before Maeve. Brian helped me on many occasions if I was out doing yardwork. A tremendous young man. My deepest sympathies to all.

Dear Kelly & Mr. and Mrs. Boulay,
I am very sorry for your loss and I am thinking of you at this very difficult time. The one memory I had with Brian was when you(Kelly)came to visit me in New Jersey and we went to go see Brian play for the Reading Royals. He was an awesome player! After the game, he was signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. I remember saying Kelly your brother is famous! Aftewards,we hung out and had a nice dinner together .
