MAXWELL, Corinne McDonaldBorn September 27, 1918 in Nashville, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the age of 90. Preceded in death by her parents, Binnie Corinne Wright McDonald and Haywood McDonald, Sr.; husband, Charlie B. Maxwell; brother, Haywood (Bubba) McDonald, Jr. Survived by son, Michael D. (Dawn) Maxwell, Franklin, TN; daughter, Celeste Maxwell Wright, Antioch, TN; sister, Margaret Reynolds, Lebanon, OH; granddaughter, Kara L. Maxwell, Franklin, TN; great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Isabella, Franklin, TN; nephew, Gary (Shirley) McDonald, Ooltewah, TN; nephew, Barry (Vicky) Reynolds, Hamilton, OH and nephew, Steve Reynolds, Milwaukee, WI; great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Maxwell was a lifelong resident of Nashville, TN. She graduated from East High School and Nashville Business College. She then worked for a medical group in downtown Nashville before her marriage to Charlie B. After her marriage, she became a full time homemaker and mother to her 2 children. She was a member of West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a member of the Semper Fidelis Sunday School Class. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m., at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11 a.m., with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at West Harpeth Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Rickey Page will officiate. Interment Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers: Gary McDonald, Barry Reynolds, Ronnie Anderson, Paul Hyde and Richard Nealy. Arrangements by WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike, (615) 352-9400.

Mike and Celeste:
We are so sorry for your loss. I don't think we could have had a more solid foundation in life than our upbringing in West Nashville and the parents we had. Perhaps we could not make an exclusive claim for the Sylvan Park neighborhood as "God's Country," but His eyes and hands were certainly upon us, and we hope they remain with you, especially at this time.
