Mike Fennel was born in Juneau, Alaska on December 29, 1947. His family relocated to the San Fernando Valley, CA in 1957. In 1971 he started his business and with hard work and determination, his business became a well-known full classic restorations company, Mike Fennel Enterprises, located in Saugus, CA. Because of his reliable quality, workmanship and expertise, he was privileged to work on some of the most valuable, unique, and unusual cars in the world. He was fortunate to build a successful business for over 40 years doing what he loved to do.

Mike, you left this world too soon and you are missed by many including me. I appreciate the time we spent walking through the shop sharing ideas. We shared a common passion for hot rods, muscle cars, classic cars and motorcycles-anything with wheels and an engine! I learned a lot from you and I hope in some small way maybe you learned from me. God Speed. James Keegan

It was an honor to call him a friend.
Though he was truly a dear friend of my older brother, he treated me like a "bud".
Always had the time to stop whatever he was doing and take the time to show me around.
The love and true friendship he showed my brother after his accident was something seldom seen. But that was Mike Fennel, a class act.
Thank You, Mike. Thank You!
You are and always will be missed.
God Bless you and yours.

Always a highlight of visits to my sister and her family was to drop by Mikes shop. He always took the time to show us around. The quality of his work is reflected in the list of people who returned time and again with their treasured cars for him to return to their glory.
I will miss those visits and him as well. Godspeed Mike.

Mike not only had a passion for cars, but for life as well. First car that I brought to him was an 1964 Corvette. I had my dog Rocky with me at the time. Rocky was a rescued Boxer. That is when I learned of another one of his passions. Mike, you are missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
