Joseph Handy Obituary
DUSON - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2011, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Duson, LA., for Mr. Joseph Martin Handy, 67, who entered eternal rest, Friday, May 13, 2011 at his residence in Lafayette, LA.
Interment will be in St. Benedict Catholic Church Cemetery in Duson, LA.
Mr. handy is survived by his children, three daughters, Stephanie Guillory, Tia Handy both of Lake Charles, LA and Katie Broussard of Lafayette, LA; two sons, Timothy Handy of Desota, TX and Mark Handy of Lafayette, LA,; sister, Rita Benoit of Duson, LA and a brother, Milton Handy of Duson, LA; caregiver, Rosetta Calloway of Lafayette, LA; 7 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Mr. handy was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney & Dora Handy ; a grandson , Jeremiah Sonnier; brother, Alvin, Preston and June Handy; sisters, Mary Jane Guidry, Alice Meche and Agnes Handy and a nephew Steven Handy.
Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM Staurday, May 21, 2011, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Duson, LA.
