Joshua Larriviere Obituary
BROUSSARD - A Mass of Christian Burial for Joshua Michael Larriviere, 29, will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 9, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard, LA with Rev. Edward Duhon, Associate Pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM; Sunday, April 8, 2012 from 9:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:15PM and on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 8:00AM until just prior to service time. Entombment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Larriviere, was a resident of Broussard, LA and was employed by National Oilwell Varco for the past 5 plus years working in Sales and Dispatch. He was a loving Father, Son, Brother and Friend whom will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He coached his son's soccer, baseball and wrestling teams; was a huge New Orleans Saints football fan as well as being active in sports like soccer and Tai Qwain Do.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Gale Comeaux Larriviere of Broussard, LA; brother, Bryan Larriviere and his wife, Jillian of Milton, FL; sister, Jessica L. Domingue and her husband, Seth of Broussard, LA; son, Jayden Larriviere of Broussard, LA; nieces, Maggie Larriviere of Milton, FL and Leighton Domingue of Broussard, LA.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Larry and Marie Larriviere and his Maternal Grandparents, Preston and Hazel Comeaux.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Larriviere, Garret Boutte, Marcus Duhon, Benny Benezech, Ryan Ates, Jacob Fitch, John Theaux, Jeff Guidry, Brock Reaux and Josh Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jayden Larriviere, Chris Burkheiser, Seth Domingue, Alonzo Flugence, Rocky Vercher, Will Lee, Chase Reed, Jarred Angelle, Wes Worley and Trey Smith.

Heaven is a perfect place although this is a very hard time for everyone just remember for Josh he is doing PERFECT he will watch over everyone.God has a plan for everyone's life and it just happened to be the time now for him being needed in Heaven. God is love don't forget that even when it comes to these circumstances that can be confusing everything that happens is for a reason.Rip Josh you are an amazing person and I'm so happy I had the pleasure of knowing you.To the family and friends you will be in my prayers forever I know it won't be easy to get threw this but continue to pray for god to give you strength.God bless you all

I went to Easter Sunday mass and Father Duhon said to pray for Joshua Larrivere and his family .I was shocked to see it was the same little boy I taught in kindergarten. All my students remain five years old forever in my mind. I am so sorry for your loss. Joshua was a sweet and loving child who always had a smile on his face. I am sure he grew up to be a sweet and loving young man.,son , father, and friend. There are times when words are not enough. May God's eternal light and His everlasting love surround you now.
