Evelyn Lewis Obituary
DELCAMBRE - Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 1:00pm at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church for Evelyn Dozier Lewis, 59, who died May 17, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Services will be conducted by Father Nathan Comeaux.
Interment will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Mark Lewis of Youngsville, LA; three daughters, Schelly (Lamond) Jack and Tori Lewis of Richmond, TX and Alicia Lewis of Youngsville, LA. Also cherishing her memory are four sisters, Rita (Roosevelt, Jr.) Lewis of Youngsville, LA, Alberta (Anthony) Mitchell, Rebecca Comeaux, and Madaline Bonnie Dozier of Delcambre, LA; four brothers, Wilmer Dozier, Jr. of Delcambre, LA, Albert (Roslyn) Dozier of Spring, TX, and Peter (Ann) and Charles Dozier of Abbeville, LA; two Godchildren, Ryan (Hope) Lewis of Denham Springs, LA and Laci Comeaux of Delcambre, LA and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer, Sr. and Mary Petry Dozier and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church from 8:00am until 11:00am.
A rosary will be recited on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11:00am.
