I met Woody, when he had a Stained Glass Business in Buckhead, Atlanta...Dumas Stained Glass....I'd last seen him when he was living/working in his studio at the corner of Monroe Ave. and Piedmont Rd.......and only discovered, this morning, his death.......He was a talented artist, a music lover and a to the core good guy!.....

I knew him when he had CLM Records and lived in Baker. I learned a lot from him about music and had lots of long afternoons on his front porch talking about art, film, music, and the world. He was always knowledgeable and always a good interlocutor. He is missed.

Sorry to hear this... I listened to Woody's show on KLSU a lot and he sent me a tape and an LP from his C'est La Mort label, and a t-shirt also. I still have them. I learned a lot about alternative music from him. He will be missed.

Our lives are changed forever, we'll miss Woody's smile, wit and good looks, always on the edge, the coolest friend I knew growing up. We had so many good time together from the 1st Grade to the 12th grade at Baker High, he was always a great friend. I loved him like a brother, rest now my friend and brother.

I unfortunately didn't know Woody very well back in those KLSU days, but his musical reputation was legendary and that will not fade. He is joining many ultra cool characters who left before him. Many blessings to all who are mourning his departure. Peace ...

This is so sad to hear. I have great memories of Woody, his passion for music, for art and good wine. His dark and wonderful sense of humor. And I never did properly thank him for loaning me his precious guitar for all that time. Rock on Woody, wherever you are!

This is a very sad day to find out my friend has passed away. He touched so many lives of people he never met thanks to his radio show at KLSU, his music store, his record label and even more when he began broadcasting on internet radio scanning the entire globe. RIP Woody, we'll all miss you and never forget you.
