Joseph P "Joe" Coston

Joseph P. "Joe" Coston, 50, of Athens, Pa., passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at Elderwood Health Care Facility with his family by his side.
He was born on Nov. 24, 1965 in Sayre, Pa., the son of John and Sandra Coe Coston.
Joe graduated from Waverly High School, Class of 1983. He was employed as a truck driver with Venezia. His greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his sons. Joe loved football, and was a fan of Notre Dame, the Miami Dolphins and the Cowboys. He was a kind and gentle man who never had a harsh word for anyone. Joe always gave from the heart and he always will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his laughter, and his infectious smile.
He is predeceased by his mother, Sandra Coe.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Stacey Coston, at home; his four sons and daughter-in-law he was so very proud of, Roman and Kalea Coston, Derek Coston, Brandon Coston, and Parker Coston, all of Athens, Pa.; and his precious grandchildren, the lights of his life, Faith and Axten. Joseph also is survived by his father, John Coston of Sayre, Pa.; step-mother, Muriel Coston of Sayre, Pa.; siblings, Clara (Gregory) Fiske of Woodbourne, N.Y., Matthew Coston of Elmira, N.Y., Michelle Dutton of Waverly, N.Y., and Jennifer Delp of Monroeton, Pa.; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 S. Main St., Athens, Pa. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.
