I remember growing up with Danny on Shady Lane in Coachella. We went to school together and were in scouts. I was sorry to hear about his passing. My heart goes out to the Armendariz Family.

I just found out about your loss today 10.25.2010 from my sister. Dato was a childhood friend of my from grade school and part of high school. He was very talented drummer as kids we a lot of fun. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

From the day I knew you were coming into this world I was excited to see the new addition to the Armendaiz family in one Danial " Dato " . Always you and your parents meant so much to me . Everyone of your family is and will always bring smiles to my face no matter what . Your Dad - what a great man he was to me , I learned from him . Dennis and Kim and you were always do special to hang with on chance encounters like at The Date Festival . I am so lucky to have had you as not only a member of my Armendariz family but also as a friend and fellow musician as well . We will play again some day cuz . I love you .

Dato I just got back in town and was told of this sad news after talking with you a short while back about a Harley ride to the top of the mountain you got there before I did. I will really miss you and your humor. And the remaining Armendariz family I am very very sorry for your loss and may God comfort you in your time of loss.

Danny, you were my fathers best friend, and we I am privileged to have had you in my life for a long as I have. I know you and my parents are united again, chatting about the old times. Mrs Armendariz. I will always remember Dato and my brothers playing ball as small boys in Coachella. Also I remember him from being in High School with him. He was a great part of my memories as a child. Sorry for your loss.

It is so hard to find out about someone passing when they are so young, and then to have it be a friend...that really strikes at my heart. I was a friend of "Dato"s and am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. The Armendariz family is in my prayers. I am sure Dato will now find his place in the sun.
