Theodore Mohr Obituary

January 23, 1933 – January 12, 2012

Theodore J. Mohr, born in Clark County, Mo., passed away on January 12, 2012 at his home in College Station, TX. "Ted", a product of the one room elementary school era, graduated from Kahoka High School and Central Methodist College. He was an employee of Moore Business Forms for forty years, serving in numerous positions in financial management, concluded by eleven years as Group Product Controller.

In 1954, he was married to Neva Clark in Kahoka, Mo. They have been married fifty-seven years and are the parents of three daughters, Patti, Michelle, and Cheryl. The family lived in numerous places, all in the Midwest. Upon his retirement in 1994, Ted and Neva moved to College Station to be near Patti and their three grandchildren. Michelle and Cheryl subsequently followed and have added four additional grandchildren.

As a believer in Jesus Christ, Ted served in leadership capacities in all churches he attended. As a member of Grace Bible Church, he was a Deacon for several terms. He and Neva led the Grace ministry to widows and widowers for fifteen years. He served as Treasurer of several non-profit organizations and served three terms as Director of Stonebridge Homeowners' Association and finally served as President.

Surviving are his three daughters, Patricia Carr and husband Nello, Michelle Steedly and husband Ron, and Cheryl Murski and husband Jeff, all of Bryan/College Station; as well as seven grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Eugene Mohr of Kahoka, Mo., Gale Mohr and wife Mary of Manchester, Mo.; a sister, Marilyn Cannon and husband Mark of Elmhurst, Ill.; as well as a brother-in-law, Kenneth Clark and wife Margaret of Quincy, Ill.

A Memorial Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Bible Church, 700 Anderson St., College Station, on Monday, January 16, 2012. Internment is in College Station Cemetery.
