I am sorry to hear of your loss. Steve and I played in the band together in the trombone section. We also were in several sports together. Though I have not lived in Newfield since the '70's, I do try to keep up. It is my home, at least in my heart. Steve had a lot of abilities and was a good guy. I am sure he turned into a fine man.

Ginny, Jevon and Leif,
I just heard and I'm very saddened. My thoughts go out to you and all of Steve's family and friends. Although I had not seen Steve in 25 years, my many memories of growing-up with Steve are fond ones. His positive presence, support and encouragement were great influences on my life. He was a good person and may he rest in peace.

Ginny, Jevon, and Leif:
I am so very sorry to hear about Steve's passing. And, as others have stated, it has been a long time since I've seen him, yet, it was still a shock to hear about it. I didn't know if he was residing here locally or far away. I will remember the campfires at the house, and his quiet manner and opinion about life, and other various subjects. I hope he wasn't suffering. My prayers and thoughts are with you and the Pakkala family.

Ginny and family,

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. It is such a shock! I haven't seen Steve in many years, but I remember that he was one of the top students in our high school class and a very nice person. The time passes so quickly. It's hard to believe that it's already 30 years since our graduation. He was still so young, and his passing leaves a void in this world. May God bless and comfort you and your family.

Most sincerely,
Rita McCaffery Moufarrege
