CRUZ, 51
LAKELAND - Elvira Sanchez Cruz, 51, of Lakeland, Florida, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2012, due to cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years Ricardo P. Cruz; children Ricardo Cruz, Jr. and Vicente Cruz Sanchez; grandchild Jacob Giovanni Cruz; and siblings Nicholas Sanchez, Ceferino Sanchez, Ancelmo Sanchez, and Alicia Sanchez.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25 from 6-8:00 P.M. with prayers at 7:30 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 CR 39 S, Plant City. Graveside services in Texas. Expressions of condolence at www.hopewellfuneral.com.

Elvira,Que Dios todo poderoso y su hijo Jesus te tengan en su santa gloria! Tuvimos momentos muy lindos en nuestra infancia y adolecencia y aunque no nos volvimos a ver yo siempre te recorde y the recordare mientras viva. Te nos adelantaste al cielo, pero alla nos vemos. (Chayo la de Ramona)

~ Que Dios la tenga en su santa gloria ~
She was a wonderful person, a loving mother & a great friend. She loved her grandson to the fullest & loved my other son like her own grandson. So she not only had one grandson but two because she was always there for my boys and myself when we needed her. Always there to give them a kiss on their small little heads and say "Dios los lleve". Y ahora mi Dios se la llevo y ya no esta sufriendo. She's in a better place now. We loved her, we love her & she will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts she will be for she was a true angel in this world & now an angel watching over us. We love you always!
-Jacob: "Granma with God" & "Granma mimis" Those are the words of her 2 year old grandson.
