RENE VILLARREAL Obituary
McALLEN - Rene Armando Villarreal, 52, entered eternal rest Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in McAllen, Mr. Villarreal had lived there all of his life and was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by a son, Rene Villarreal, Jr.; his mother, Isabella Villarreal; and a brother, Rogelio Villarreal.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Maria Campos of McAllen; three children, Natashia (Luis Armando) Gamboa of Edinburg, Esteban Villarreal and Roel Villarreal, both of McAllen; five grandchildren, Nakeyshia Gamboa, Sidney Gamboa, Samantha Gamboa, Arihanna Gamboa, and Rene Villarreal; a daughter-in-law, Sara De La Cruz; his father, Rafael Villarreal and step-mother, Inocencia Villarreal of Mission; three brothers, Rafael Villarreal of Austin, Texas, Ricardo Villarreal of Houston, Texas, Omar Villarreal of Mission; and two sisters, Rose Villarreal of McAllen and Suehayne Villarreal, of Mission.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, July 4, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.

My Dad was the greatest man in the world he gave and never asked for anything in return. he had the greatest sense of humor and had an act for making people laugh. He was not only the best Dad on the world he was also "My best Friend". It is a shame that my Ari will not know what it is to have the greatest Grandpa or as she called him "Pampa". We Love you and will miss you always. But I know u are in heaven with my LiL Brother now. There is so much I can say about my Dad but i don't think I should have to because you all knew him and loved him like we do. Miss You "DADDY" Always and Forever till we meet again :(

Friendship is a priceless gift.it cannot be bought or sold,but its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.for gold is cold and lifeless.it can neither see or hear,and in time of trouble it is powerless to cheer.it had no ears to listen.no heart to understand.it cannot bring u comfort or reach out a helping hand.so when u ask god for a gift or a blessing.be very thankful of he sends not diamonds,pearls,riches,but the love of a true friend.and that's what rene was to me for 26yrs.I will cherish the time we laughed &cried together.until we meet again my friend.rest in heavenly peace. Villarreal family...my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Rene was a friend of my brother's, and when he passed away was there for our family. I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH RENE SINCE THE 1ST GRADE AT THIGPEN ELEMENTRY , ZAVALA AND MC HI.. RENE WAS A VERY
HAPPY GUY THAT I USED TO HANG AROUND WITH.. I REMEMBER HE BEING THE ARTIST IN ALL OUR CLASS ROOMS, TEACHERS USED TO LET HIM MAKE THE DOOR COVER FOR ALL THE HOLIDAYS.. FUNNY AND GOOD HUMOR.. MAY GOD BLESS HIM
