Charlotte Speights Holmes

Charlotte Speights Holmes, of Carriere, MS, born February 4, 1944, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Beloved Wife of Maurice "Maury" William Holmes. Mother of Lisa Monnier (Craig), Maury Holmes, III (Dianna) and Alex Holmes. Daughter of the late Hugh Speights and Elna Carraway Speights. Sister of Hughlene Perrott, June Daughdrill and the late Robbie Lee Speights Murphy. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, Mason, Marshall and Myles Monnier, Maury, IV and Sarah Holmes. She was a retired contract specialist for NASA. A member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and Secretary of the NCMA Greater New Orleans Chapter. She was an active member of Trinity Methodist Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA, on Thursday evening, February 25, 2016, at 7:00 P.M.
