Mark Iverson

Mark Iverson, 48, of McCleary, passed away of leukemia on February 27, 2011. Mark was born August 15, 1962, in Seattle, grew up in Olympia, and graduated from North Thurston High School. He worked at Bayview Building Materials for over 20 years. Bayview was like a second family to Mark. He was a wonderful gardener and loved growing roses and building things for the garden. Above all else, he loved his family and his friends, and was thankful for all that life had given to him. Mark is survived by his wife, Angela; son Cole; mother, Judy (Dwight) Caron; father, Gary (Jodi) Iverson; brothers, Todd and Troy Iverson, Mike and Bob Caron; sisters, Jani Iverson, Erin Barnes, and Rebecca Caron; grandmothers, Inga Serr and Doris Iverson; nephew, Kyle Iverson; in-laws, Jerry and Marilyn Olson.
A celebration of Mark's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011, at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater. Memorial donations suggested to Mark Iverson Memorial at any Key Bank. Mark, you will truly missed. I remember thinking to myself at your wedding, how you and Angela must have been created for each other. You two completed each other. Then came Cole, and you three couldn't wait to take on the world together. Rest well cousin, I know you will be watching over you family for a very long time.

In the 20 years I knew Mark through shopping at Bayview I never saw him he didn't have a smile on his face. Everyone will miss him. I'm glad his pain is over.
