December 9, 1974 - March 11, 2017
BREMEN - Micah J. Hueni, 42, of Bremen, went to be with his Lord at 7:09 pm, Saturday, March 11, 2017 in IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Micah was born on December 9, 1974 in Bremen to Herman J. and Marlene (Schweisberger) Hueni. Micah graduated from Ball State University and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He worked as a truck driver for Bellman Oil and was also in the Army Reserves. He enjoyed being outdoors and his hobbies included boating and riding snowmobiles. Micah was an excellent chef and loved to cook. His daughter was his pride and joy and he cherished spending time with family and friends. Micah is survived by daughter; Lana Hueni; mother, Marlene Hueni; sister, Michelle (Ron) Grove and nieces, Lindsey and Bethany Grove. He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Kristi Hueni. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday March 15, 2017 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Bremen Church of the Brethren, 921 Woodies Lane, Bremen, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Evan Garber will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be given to the Bremen Church of the Brethren, 921 Woodies Lane, Bremen, IN 46506. Sorry I'm late to this terrible news. Micah was my roommate at Ball State. He was an amazing friend and the fun we had was priceless to me. We were pledge brothers and although I moved east and he moved south over the years and lost touch, I wanted to give my condolences and prayers to his daughter and family. His spontaneously combustible uncontrollable laughter will never be forgotten to me.
