i am so sorry this happened. im a few years younger than dylan, in gr 10, but i can remember seeing him around school a lot. i never really knew him, but my heart hurts so bad over this. my sympathy to the reichelts... hang in there. jesse... im so sorry. i saw you at the school a couple days after the accident, and since then you've always been at the back of my mind. so sorry about this... u will be missed dylan.

Cathy and Bill, I spoke to Wayne yesterday and was so sorry to hear about the loss of your beoved son Dylan. I only met him a few times, but I remember him as being this friendly kid with a big personality and a vibrancy about himself that never ended. He would have ultimately been successful in whatever he chose to pursue in life. Sometimes life's just not fair. My heart goes out to your family. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Reichelt Family,
We were so deeply saddened by the tradjic loss of Dylan. Although, I didn't know him personally, I had the pleasure of talking to him on a number of occassions at the golf course. He always had a kind, warm smile and was polite and helpful. My son has good memories of Dylan at school and on the golf course and speaks very highly of him. He admired him for his leadership, good sense of humour and one liners. We attended the service and it was clear that Dylan has touched the lives of many in his short time here and those memories will live forever. We hope that your family will find comfort in your shared memories and that it will help ease the pain a little.

I am so deeply shocked and saddened by your loss. I never knew Dylan personally but I feel I know him, Keira and Jesse just from the discussions that Cathy and I would have about all the good things you were all doing and the successes that you have. I am sorry that I was unable to attend the service as we were away when I got the news. It is a great loss for you all that I can only just imagine. Adam played hockey with the twins and Bruce coached them when they were around 7 or 8 years old. We moved to Ontario shortly after that but we spoke often of your wonderful boys; always smiling and celebrating just being on the ice playing together. Bruce loved coaching both of your boys. We are so heartbroken to hear of Dylan's passing and we want you to know that you are in our thoughts and that we have very happy memories of those days together at the rink with our two families. We have tremendous compassion for your family and your community as you deal with your loss.

I have been coaching in LMHA since Dylan and Jesse first started refereeing in LMHA. I feel I watched both boys grow up from bright eyed 12/13 year olds too the confident young men who just this year were on the ice teaching my now 13 year old son to be a referee. As we discussed this tragedy amongst our Bantam house team I began to realize how many players, friends of players, coaches, and parents Dylan has positively affect throughout his short life. Dylan's memory will last forever in so many of the hearts of all those people who had the district pleasure of making his acquaintance.

Dylan attended my daughters Grad in June with her friend Aly. They made a beautiful couple,he was so handsome in his purple shirt. Pictures at Sendall Gardens, Party Bus and dinner dance. When Jenna told me Sunday morning I was so sad for the familys' loss especially his twin brother. My heart aches for you all! I was Dylan's ref assignor for 5 yrs and have great memories of calling knowing if I was ever in a jam Dylan & Jesse would be there for LMHA. I would get phone calls from coaches specifically asking for the twins. Such a compliment. Now, my son Bradley has started the ref course and we were all happy to see Dylan & Jesse out there supervising. My deepest sympathies to your whole family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Dylan's tragic passing. I have no words to ease the pain you are feeling, but I have always admired how close and connected your family is! I remember when Jesse was in my Grade 6 class and I thought he was leaving without filling out his agenda, so I called him back. Except Jesse was still at his desk, it was Dylan I was calling back--boy did I feel dumb! Dylan wasn't even in my homeroom class! Dylan's enthusiastic approach to life, and his charming smile, were never lost on me. That is how I have often thought of him since he left Murrayville--and that is how I will always remember him. My heartfelt condolences to the Reichelt family...Dylan mentored my son Chevy in his referee clinic and both Chevy and I have had many opportunities to work with Dylan, especially recently, as we often would scorekeep/timekeep the games which Dylan reffed.... My heart goes out to all of you. I didn't know Dylan personally, but I saw him around school when I use to go there. He was always smiling, upbeat, and an all round caring young man. Stay strong in this hard time - he is up there watching all of you!
