Lex Roberts Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province from Oct. 26 to Oct. 27, 2016.
Lex Roberts October 2, 1965 - October 20, 2016 It is with a deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lex Roberts. He was a beloved father, son, uncle, nephew, co-worker and friend. Lex is survived by his mother Eva, father Ellis Wyn, aunt Erika, brother Carey, and sons Dylan and Darian. Lex worked in the financial sector for more than three decades, most recently with Guardian Capital Advisors LP as an Associate Portfolio Manager. Lex will be remembered for his warm jovial nature, his generosity, love of travel and exploring new things. He loved spending time with his boys, whether it was playing sports, studying, or walking their dog Snickers. We welcome all friends and family to his celebration of life, to be held on Saturday October 29th beginning at 11:00am at South Bonson Community Centre (10932 Barnston View Road in Pitt Meadows).

I am so very sad to hear that Lex passed away. I worked closely with Lex at TD for many years. I enjoyed our playful bantering back & forth. At times our discussions got heated but we always made up. Lex was such a joy to work with and had such a big heart. Lex was a man that loved his chocolate bars and very often would bring me my favorite Aero Mint bar. I smiled when I read his dog's name is Snickers. My condolences to Lex's family, especially to the sons that he adored, Dylan & Darian. I listened to some Motley Crue this morning in tribute to Lex as I know that was his favorite band. Rock on up above Lexi!
You will be missed,
Love Gerty

What a great guy. Lex had a very good sense of humour and was always fun to be around. You couldn't ask for a more dedicated, hardworking individual than Lex. He will definitely be missed.
