She was a proud mother of ten children, Patrice, John (Nancy), Judy (Alan), Maureen (Ken), Tom (Kelly), Denise (Harry), Sheila, Pat (Amy), Pam, and Tim (Shelley) and "adopted son" John Kay; ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, Ted, Laura, Sam (Laura, Lily, Rose, Annabelle, Mallory (Ian, Kaleb, Noah), Jamie, Matty, Sarah, Matthew, Cree and Ben. A long-time employee of the Civil Service, she served many years as Pay Supervisor and is remembered by many retired members of the 349th Squadron. She was an active member of Saturday Club, the Museum Guild and Beta Sigma Phi. She had many friends and enjoyed working puzzles, and listening to audio books. A liberal at heart, she was an early supporter of President Obama and voted in every election. A memorial service for friends will be held at The Saturday Club on Thursday, July 26, at 11 a.m.

I had the pleasure of working for Roxana at the 349th for four years, from '76-'80. She was a terrific boss, and rarely got flustered even in most frustrating of circumstances. Rest in peace, Roxana, and may God bless you and your family.
