Jack Sprouse Obituary

ANNA -- Jack E. Sprouse, 77, died at 7:13 a.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011, in Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 30, 1933, in Chicago, the son of Benjamin H. and Bertha (Bullington) Sprouse. He married Billie Jean Brooks on Nov. 22, 1956, in Anna.

Jack was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle in Jonesboro. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Sherwin Wil-liams Paint Co. for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Sprouse of Anna; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy (Wendy) Sprouse of Smithland, Ky., and Terrence (Debbie) Sprouse of Wheatfield, Ind.; four grandchildren, Melissa J. Sprouse, Tiffany L. Sprouse, Nicholas (Kelly) Sprouse and Monica B. Sprouse; and two great-grandchildren, Hayley Sprouse and Jacob Sprouse.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Louise Mowery.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011, in Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle in Jonesboro with the Rev. Timothy Sprouse, the Rev. Terrence Sprouse and the Rev. Geoff Bond officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Military rites will be con-ducted by the Military Honors Team from Marion.
