He was my best friend.

When I was 9 years old and just moved to Sparta, his parents had to make him come over and play with the new kid. We were seldom apart from then on. I have missed him since I moved to Virginia 26 years ago. And now I will always miss him. Dennise and I were able to get together with Randy and Roger two springs ago for just a few hours. I am so glad we did.

I could tell you a thousand stories. We had so many adventures. We did everything together. He influenced almost everything in my life. I could never repay the things that Randy and his parents have done for me over the years. They are truly some of the finest people I have ever known.

To Otto, Eldean, Nancy and Paul -
Dennise and I Love you and we Loved Randy. Thank you for making him come over to play with the new kid. I can never thank you enough-for everything.

Randy was never one to get too sentimental - but I will. Buddy we Love you and will miss you forever. I will never forget all the great times we had together.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Eldean, Otto, Nancy and Family. May GOD give you the peace and strength you need to get through your time of grief. Randy was a dear and lifelong friend of mine. I will miss him greatly. Everytime I will think of him or speak of him I know will bring a smile to my face or maybe even a chuckle. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all that knew him. Rest In Peace Buddy.

I've known Randy since we were both Freshmen at Sparta High. While I haven't kept in touch recently, I could probably write a book about all our experiences with Randy, all of which are warmly remembered and cherished. Condolences to the entire Svanda Family, Randy will be sincerely missed.
