Cecelia Lacz Obituary
Cecelia was born in Cheshire on Nov. 22, 1915, the daughter of the late John Pass and Sophie (Ruchala) Pass and resided in Meriden for most of her life. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and a member of the Polish Women's Alliance of America, St. Theresa's Society and the Sunshine Club. Over the years many Meriden residents enjoyed strawberries, corn and other vegetables grown at the Lacz Farm on Paddock Avenue. She enjoyed her trips with friends to Florida, Canada and Poland.
She is survived by two daughters, Sally Lyons, of Middlefield and Nancy Zaborowski and her husband, Paul of Meriden; three sons, Walter John Lacz and his wife, Josephine, of Meriden, Larry Lacz, of Middlefield and Peter Lacz and his wife, Marlene, of Middlefield; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Sweeney, Larissa and Lareina Lacz-Schlosser, Lisa and Karen Zaborowski, Kevin, Mark and Michael Lacz; three great-grandchildren, Kaylin and Rylee Sweeney and Grady Lacz. She is also survived by a sister, Vicki Augustine. She was predeceased by two brothers, Stanley and Frank Pass.
The funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 19, at 10:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, and at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian burial. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Her family wishes to thank the staff at Coccomo Memorial for their care and support. Should friends desire, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron St., Meriden, CT 06450.

I (and one of my brothers) worked with Agnes for several years. We still speak of her. Her passing brings me both sadness and warm, happy memories. She is remembered.

Lacz Family,
I am saddened to hear of the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. I can remember riding My bicycle to the farm stand when I was a kid and your Mother waiting on me. I can also remember the picnics at Side Hill RD on July Forth that we attended on a yearly basis. Your Mother and Grandmother will always leave a smile on my face when I think of her.
