Cant believe it has been 7 years already. We miss you so much. Miss our talks on your walk back from work, miss the company at our famous block party, hut tub time... but we mostly miss you. Your kind heart, your sense of humour, your joie de vivre.
Will be thinking about you and giving you hugs and kisses. Keep taking care of Bernie from out there! Well take care of him from down here!

Simon and I are shocked and deeply saddened by Warren's untimely death. Our hearts go out to his friends and his beautiful family: Bernie, Faye, Tamara, Greg and Dana. Warren and I were friends and pen pals as teenagers; when we got back in touch decades later, it was as if no time had passed. Our reunion was all the sweeter because it included our wonderful husbands. Warren was a smart, wickedly funny, handsome, loving and lovable man, and he will be sorely missed by those who had the good fortune to know him.

Bernie, we have had time to absorb the news of the loss of Warren and we are both having a difficult time of accepting it. He was with both of us today on our walk up and down the difficult hill that we walk daily in LHC. I sooooo, sooooo miss my friend every day and my heart is just breaking for you in your loss of your soulmate and best friend! I don't know what else to say. Take care, our friend, Deb and Dan

Bernie,
We were so shocked to hear of Warren's passing. We loved you both as neighbours and enjoyed our visits while walking by when you were gardening or putting the final touches on your Hallowe'en decorations.
Please know you are in our thoughts....Tyler and Krista

"The death of our loved ones inspire us as much as their lives. . . when we say farewell to loved ones, then indeed we begin to keep them company." Those words from Henry David Thoreau I extend to Bernie, to Faye, to Tamara, Greg and Dana, and to extended family and friends, along with my sincere condolences on the sudden passing of "our" Warren.
The treasure of Warren goes on in the numerous lives of those he touched: at home, at work, and, indeed, around the world. And, now, eternity has this "very good" gift as Warren's journey continues. Given Warren's impeccable taste in things decor, (and God's infinite possibilities!) he is no doubt "at home" in one of the "many dwelling places" in the Father's house.
March 3, 2012, I will always remember as the day a gentle and loving soul, full of wit and kindness, left a beautiful part of this world — the island of Koh Samui, Thailand — and returned to God whom we are told, is love. God speed, Warren. May God guide you on this road you have not travelled before. I am honoured to be your brother-in-law.
"Those we remember never die; for death is but a door to the other world."

Warren will be missed immensely by his colleagues at Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan (HSAS). He dedicated many years to HSAS and because of his work, many benefitted. Warren was not afraid to hold important roles of responsibility, and he took on challenging jobs with passion. But most of all, Warren was dedicated to his profession, and was a strong advocate for "Patients First". I will miss Warren, and his friendship greatly, but his Memory will be Eternal!

Warren was so special to me. He made work an absolute pleasure and changed my life in many ways. I was lucky enough to chat with him and Bernie on FaceTime while they were in Thailand drinking margaritas on the patio. He was having the time of his life, doing exactly what he loved to do. Bernie and family, thinking of you always, and I hope you find peace in knowing what an amazing person he was. Miss you forever, take care dear!

I am devastated, as I'm sure Bernie and his family and other friends are, by the loss of Warren's sunny and fun-loving warmth. A light has gone out of our lives, but my memories of him and the good and bad times we've shared and supported each other through will remain as a light in my heart. Bernie, some days will be darker than others but the sun does eventually come out again. All my love, now and forever.

As I live in the States I have not seen Warren much lately, but I think of him often and was just talking with my daughter about him yesterday morning. He was the only person I still knew from high school.
Bernie, we have only met briefly but I am so sorry to hear about Warren. I remeber talking with Warren when you first met and how crazy he was about you. You have a relationship to be envied and strived for. In this time may your family and friends provide that support for you.
