I was very sad to hear of Max's passing as she was a very special person and gift to all who knew her. I worked with her at SIAST and knew her from the triathlon group. My first encounter with Max was when she helped me with a technology problem at work and that is how I will remember her - intelligent, respectful, empathetic, funny, spunky and positive. She had good energy and a sense of adventure. I know her family and all of us who were lucky to call her a friend will miss her and think of her often.

I worked with Max at Saskatchewan Polytechnic for many years. We would spend much time talking about our jobs and life in general. She was a great support and a wonderful person. Max and I also shared a passion for Dogs and would share our pictures and stories of them. Max was our office prankster. She instigated many practical jokes and created an atmosphere that was a whole lot of fun. We'll meet again, Max!

My sincere condolences to Max's family, friends, and Zachary Aaron. Max and I worked for two years together at the U of S and she was a true friend and mentor. I remember Max for her unfailing kindness, humour, and generosity. She was always ready to share knowledge, one-liners, baked goods, or a hug when times were hard. I admired her tremendously and am proud to have known her, even for a short time. She was one of the greats.

I only worked with Max for a short time (about a year and a half) at the U of S, but she was a wonderful addition to the office. Her sense of humour was amazing and she had a way of delivering a one-liner with a straight face. You'd be trying to figure out if she was serious or not, and she'd break into a big grin and everyone would have a good laugh. Max was a very unique lady and I especially loved that her fur baby had a middle name! Rest in peace Max.

Max was a truly special person. She was so much fun to work with at SK Polytech.
Her laughter and fun loving spirit truly made her someone who will forever be remembered with a smile.
Max, you were a bright light and those that were lucky to have known you will never forget your goofiness and the way you made everyone around you laugh,
Rest easy Max

I had the great pleasure of working with Max at the U of S. I would just dearly love to hear one of her very bad jokes right now and hear her laugh. She'd roll back her chair and yell "Nancy! I got another one for ya!" Or one of her stories about Zachary! She was an amazing person with the biggest heart and we loved her. Our office will not be the same without her. Rest in peace Max - I miss you!

A part of me is gone...my hockey buddy...my friend, my aunt a person who always made me feel good about myself and I knew that when she was around....there would be laughter. I miss her so much! I was able to see her a few weeks ago and I could tell that she was struggling inside...I had a feeling that she would not be going with me to the Oilers game and wearing her Hartford Walers hat and jersey and totally embarrassing me.. I was looking forward to it. When my beautiful wife gave me my Christmas gift, one ticket to the Oilers game...I was confused. She handed me the phone and auntie was on the other end.. I immediately started to cry with joy. Now what?
I miss you so much....my heart hurts but I know you do not hurt anymore and I will see you again.. I love you

Max was a bright light. She really was one of those people that you were blessed to know and so the light never dims for the lucky ones that were able to call her a friend. She was kind, generous and tolerant beyond words. I loved her sense of self and that joyous humor she brought everyday to others in her life. Take care Max. The journey will be easier from here on.

I was saddened to hear of Max passing. I knew her for over 35 years. We met in business college where we had many good times then lost touch for a few years until we worked together at Saskpolytech again. Max was so intelligent, worked hard & had an unequalled sense of humour. She was also outspoken & a sincere person. You never wondered where you stood with Max. This world has lost a good person. My deepest condolences to her family & friends. Rest in peace, Max.

Max was my friend for over 20 years. We worked at Saskpolytechnic together then when she moved to the University of Saskatchewan, I followed. We took classes together, exercised together, and protested the injustices of the world together. More recently we would walk on our breaks and have lunch together on Fridays. The visits always too short but always full of laughs.
Max's passing leaves a gigantic hole in my heart. She was kind and generous. I will miss her dearly. I will miss her hugs upon greeting. I will miss her hilarious stories about her dear dog Zachary Aaron. I will miss our ridiculous conversations and her hearty laugh! Always in my heart and forever missed dear Max.
My condolences to Max's family, friends, and coworkers who will miss her dearly.

Dear Jeff, Sharon and the Reimer family;
So sorry to hear of the passing of Max; she was such a wonderful person with a great sense of humour. When passing my office at work, she would always smile or would stop in with a quick storey. She will be terribly missed by all who know and love her, but leaves each one of us with a special memory.
