Dear Pasha and Alena, please accept our deepest feelings of sorrow. Yasha was such a sweet boy with kind soul and inquisitive mind, very talented! We loved him very much, it was a pleasure watching him growing up. We will always remember him. Cannot believe he is gone.

Yasha was an incredibly talented and humourous young man. He didn't fit the 'regular' mould like many of us and this gift is the reason for his exceptional performances in the area of Science. Thank you for your friendship Yasha, you are a young man whose genius will always remain alive as I think of you. You were probably the best Chemistry student I have seen in my years teaching Chemistry and I know this wasn't your love or best area of study. Rest in peace.

My thoughts are with you at this sorrowful time. My role as Assistant to the Biology Head brought me into contact with Yasha as a student. He was one of our top students and very passionate about the subject. I was fortunate to have known him. Yasha was friendly, kind, always willing to help others and lend a hand whenever he could. As parents you can be very proud of him.
