I am praying for God's comfort and peace for you. As I have grieved, Luke 20: 37-38 has brought me comfort. Thankfully, we serve a God who holds all of us in His hand. I know that in His presence, Rickey is experiencing joy and peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Rickey through my son Troy Hall. My family enjoyed having him spend time with us on Lake Marion. I can't begin to understand the pain you are going through but you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very sad time.

Oh, Rickey, the news of your death has just come to me and I am so shocked and saddened. You are too young, and we love you too much, to even try to make sense of this. This life can be hard and I know you have struggled. You ran the race and are now in the precious Hands of Jesus! Those who are left here to mourn don't want to let you go, but I know that where you are now is so much better than anything on Earth. Your legacy of love, hope, perseverance, and kindness will endure! I miss you so much!

Dear sweet Ashley, you were there for us in our time of need and I wanted to let you know we are here for you. He was just at our house the week before. I had not seen him since he was at DFHS and had to ask who that handsome young man was with Ashley. I know there are no words I can say to ease the pain. Just know we love you.

This is for my favorite cousin - who I will miss very deeply. As soon as I heard the news (for some reason), I thought about what Rickey said at Uncle Jeff's funeral. After he mentioned many of his early childhood memories of our Uncle, Rickey turned towards the casket and said "Jeff, I love you." For some reason my first thoughts were that after 13 years Uncle Jeff can finally say the same to Rickey.
I'll never forget all the fun we had every New Year's Eve, lighting fireworks for several hours in Grandma's back yard. Of all the memories made at that old house, those have to be my favorites.

Rickey was such a wonderful friend to me, always was there for me to give me encouragement and advice. His outlook on things were so unique and I enjoyed the time I knew him. He will be sorely missed and I'm am looking forward to the day when I will see him again in our Heavenly home. Praying for you all during this difficult time. My heart is so sad with his loss, but am grateful I can hold onto the memories. I remember one time we were talking about God and he made the statement how awesome it would be to talk to God face to face and thinking about it now he is doing just that! Take comfort in knowing he is happy than he has ever been and is sitting at the feet of Jesus.
