I was ver sorry to hear of the loss of Harry Blumer. I met Harry at a victory party my mother had given. I work on Wall Street and meet alot of people, but Harry struck me as the kind of man that was an American hero, a hard working, generous man who wanted to make a difference. Harry was a very special cousin. He put up with his younger girl cousin when we were children, and assumed the role of big brother at times in my life when I needed one. He loved his family, home, friends, community and country with his whole heart -- and he will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
