Calvin Hester Obituary
He was the husband of the late Rachel Fuller Hester.
Survivors include two sons, Calvin Hester Jr. and Michael Lee Hester (April); two daughters, Rachel Bell (Charles) and Brenda Smith; a host of grandchildren; and sister, Mable Yellock Holt.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Allen's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 5630 Ridgeville Road, Prospect Hill. The family will receive visitors from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the church and at other times the family will be at the home of his daughter Brenda, 936 Rivers Edge Drive, Graham. Public viewing will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 1 until 9 p.m.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.

To my cousins Rachel,Calvin,Mike and Brenda, Our hearts are heavy today with the loss of "Uncle Red".He was very "Dear" Uncle and friend to me and my siblings. He was a trusted friend and co-worker to my Father for many years! We will miss him...but be there for you forever.
