Services for Tony Reginald Johnson, of Savannah, Georgia, will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at First Union Baptist Church, Alexandria.
He was born October 21, 1956 to Robert and Julia Lewis Johnson in Tacoma, Washington. On Friday, April 22, 2011, God called Tony to eternal life.

TJ I still think of you often. You were a dear friend of mine as well as family. Those times we spent together will forever be cherished. We stayed together during our Navy time and after. Miss you bro.

My daughter was born at letterman hosp. (army) when we were at hunters point in fricso, she is now 30yrs., and with that being said, before and during that time I had the pleasure of knowing Tony and all my shipmate's that I could always count on sailing with and or in port we were always part of a brotherhood and that is something that will always be with me the rest of my life, we will all meet again someday in the next life , Jesus will show us the way , Godspeed Tony and all that have left us. I had not seen Tony for 30 years, but talked to him on the telephone within the last year. It was as though we had never lost touch. I will miss him.
