I remember Tom being a thoughtful and considerate man. I would always look forward to his visits to the dealership back in the late 80's. His demeanor, composure and unflappable integrity were characteristics that immediately come to mind when reflecting on Tom Johnson.

Having the pleasure to have known and to have worked with such a fine gentleman as Tom is one of the highlights of my long career with Volvo Trucks. I can never recall talking to Tom that the subject of his family and golf did not somehow enter into the conversation. He was an inpiration and a delight.... the Volvo family has lost a special friend. You, the Family members who I never had the pleasure of meeting, are in my thoughts and prayers. May all the days of your lives be blessed with the wonderful memories of such a wonderful MAN.

Tom was a well respected member of the Volvo Truck National Accounts team joining Volvo in 1982. In my short time working with him, I found in Tom, like many who he worked with over the years, a kind and gentle man. He truly was the consummate professional and always represented Volvo in a way that would make you proud. I hope that your family in this time of loss will be able to celebrate the wonderful father and friend he was. He will be missed and always hold a special place in our hearts.

Tom exemplified the meaning of a Christian man; always showing, expressing and sharing his love and devotion for his family and friends. His hard work, kindness, caring, compassion and an ongoing great sense of humor was a blessing he bestowed on everyone that knew him. My life has been honored to have had Tom as a true friend.
