John Reitan Obituary
He married the love of his life, Carol Haugen on Sept. 4th 1955 in Rocklake N.D.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army, serving 14 months in Korea as an ammunition truck driver. He was a retired teamster, driving trucks for Valley City Grocery in N.D and Lee Grocery in Everett Wa.
He was a scoutmaster for Boy Scout troop 25 in Everett, he was a mentor to 7 eagle scouts, 2 his own sons, and many other young men during his 10+ years as scoutmaster.
A proud member of Faith Lutheran Church. VFW and the Eagles clubs. A loving husband,father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many.
He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years Carol, Sons, Kevin (Christy) Terry (Linda) Grandchildren, Amber Redfield, Brandon Reitan (Michelle) Tara Christofferson (Jake) Victoria Reitan Great Grandchildren. Pheobe Wysong, Cody Christofferson, Elizabeth Wysong, Brina Mathers, Nathan Hurst, Brae Reitan and Kaisen Reitan, Sisters Thelma Grebb & Roseanna Torgeson. Brothers, Alvin, Julius and Tom Reitan.
Preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 3 sisters in law,3 brothers in law and many friends,
Services are pending, please make any donations to Boy/Girl scouts in his name.
