Kirk White Obituary

KIRK R. WHITE Kirk R. White passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Lund Family Hospice Home, Gilbert, AZ, with his mother, sister and niece at his side. Kirk was on his way home after a year long battle with cancer. Kirk is survived by his parents, William and Margaret White of Kyle, TX (formerly of Suttons Bay, MI); sister, Julie Venus (White) of Austin, TX; nephew Billy Venus; niece Meghan Venus; his faithful dog, Koopa; many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. As well as many faithful and dear friends. After graduating from Suttons Bay High School in 1985; Kirk went on to graduate with an MBA in Business from Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste Marie, MI in 2000. He was currently employed by Rouse Properties, Inc as the General Manager of Bayshore Mall in Eureka, CA. Kirk was in charge of development and management of operating budget; quarterly forecasts; annual business plan; construction project management; asset development coordination; and lease administration. While enjoying a successful career in property management; Kirk was also active in the local community. Kirk was a part of the Board of Directors for the Eureka area Chamber of Commerce as well as the Humboldt District Fire Department.
