Myrtle Weers

1920 - 2015

Myrtle Weers died on Thursday June 25th 2015 at LifeCare Center in Longmont. She was 95 years old. Myrtle was born on June 22nd 1920 in Fleming, CO to Frank and Ethel Lambert. Myrtle was active in the family business that her late husband founded in 1960. She enjoyed attending church, collecting dolls and collecting post marks. She loved spending time with her family and always coordinating many family reunions. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Harold Weers; two daughters Deanna Kintz and Linda Kirby; two grandchildren Lonnie Kintz and Gary Kintz; and 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by one daughter Judy Dickehage (Daryl Kuehn) of Longmont; seven grandchildren Scott (Kit) Kintz, of Ft. Collins, Shawnie Torres (Levi Cooper) of Firestone, Keith (Renee) Dickehage of Longmont, Carol Hensley, Laura Dickehage (Matt Carr) of Frederick, Shellee Casiello of VA and Nikki Kell of Northglenn; 16 great-grandchildren Emma Kintz, Devon, Kylie, and Shelbie Torres, Joe (Allison) Lozinski, Zach Dickehage, and Stephanie Hart, Andrew Dickehage, Alexzander and Aidyn Groesbeck, Brandon and Taylor McDaniel, Nathan and Jonathon Casiello, Sean and Seager Kell; and two great-great grandchildren Daedric Dickehage and Averi Lozinski. A visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 PM Sunday June 28, 2015 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with family present to greet friends. A private family graveside service will be held.
