Ronnie Ray Isbell, 72, of Olive Branch, Miss., passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his residence. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens at the Pavilion. The graveside service will follow at 10 a.m. with Rev. Scott Couch officiating.
A native of Florence, Mr. Isbell worked as a pressman at the TimesDaily for seven years and at the Commercial Appeal for 36 years. He loved NASCAR racing and fishing.
Survivors include his two sons, Rodney Ray (Kathy) and Timothy Brian Isbell; two grandkids, Candace Marie (Adam) and Joshua Ryan Isbell (Sarah); one great-grandchild, Cayley Morgan Scroggins; one brother, Osey Isbell, of New Orleans; sisters, Ruth Moore, of Muscle Shoals and his twin sister, Faye Berry, of Florence.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Mae Isbell, and his parents, Wallace and Orean Isbell.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Salvation Army in Florence or the American Cancer Society.
