DOGGETT, Robert Taylor, 67, of Sparta, died Monday, June 28, 2010, at Henrico Doctors' Hospital. Born in Caroline, he worked part-time for Caroline County and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Doggett; five children, Robbie and Becky Doggett of the home, Angela Williams and Anthony Doggett of Richmond, and Todd Doggett of Ruther Glen; two sisters, Margaret Landrum of Richmond and Doris Purdy of Montpelier; two brothers, Raymond Doggett of Glen Allen and Michael Doggett of West Virginia; six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Chelsea. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Sparta. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010, at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Salem Baptist Church or Bowling Green Volunteer Rescue Squad. Sign register book online www.storkefuneralhome.com.
