To the Davis family, I thoroughly enjoyed the few times I shared with Mrs. Rose. She was a joy to be around and I looked forward to seating with her when visiting Riverview Baptist Church. Mrs. Rose will truly be missed but not forgotten.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Rose at her sister Deborah house and found out that she and my mother Flora was good friends. Mrs. Rose blessed me with her warm memories of my mother. I will never forget the long hug she gave me after finding out I was the daughter. May the Lord God be with each of you in this difficult time. I will continue to pray for each of you. Deacon LaVern Robinson, Saint Paul's Baptist Church, Richmond, VA.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
