GREEN, Mr. Thomas Ray Sr., 63, of South Hill, died Friday, October 29, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Betsy S. Green of the home; a son, Tommy Ray Green Jr. and special friend, Tracy Gill, of McKinney; stepson, Justin Wayne Sculthrope and wife, Elizabeth, of Richmond; one sister, Carol Johnson and husband, Billy, of Kenbridge; one brother, Joseph Allen Green of Kenbridge; and two grandchildren, Andrew Clayton Green and Michaela Morgan Green. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Reuben Leon Green Jr. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Kent Wise at 2 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at Farrar Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial considerations my be directed to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 5511 Staples Mill Road, Suite 105, Richmond, Va. 23228. Farrar Funeral Home, South Hill is in charge of arrangements.
