ENDER, Gloria Albis, 82, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2010. She departed peacefully at home with her children by her side. She leaves behind four children, Ken (Cathy), Steve (Karen), Peggy (James) and David (Cheryl); seven grandchildren, Ryan (Ainsley), Jason (Nici), Joanna (Brian), Jessica, Mason (Beth), Joseph and Jennifer; five great-grandchildren; Kadence, Madison, Carson, Harrison and Olivia; a sister, Jewel; a brother, Vincent (Pearl); a sister-in-law, Delores; and many nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Assembly of God, 233 North Courthouse Rd., Richmond, Va. Interment to follow in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bon Secours Hospice.

To the Ender Family:

I will always remember how pretty your house always looked going by it to get to mine. Your mother would be working out in the yard, cutting grass and watering everything. I also worked with her at Henrico Hospital Parham Road Campus where she would volunteer. I hope you find comfort in your wonderful memories and that god can help you through this difficult time. You are all in my heart and prayers. She was a great lady and will be missed.
