C.D. Dye Obituary

DYE, C.D., 58 of Chesterfield, formerly of Southwestern, Va., went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Debra Dye; four children, Stephanie, Jayfred, Andrew and Christopher; mother, Emma Jean Dye; brother, Ian B. Dye Jr.; and three grandchildren, Jonah, Micah and Annika. C.D. was a 34-year member of the Virginia State Police. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Richmond Law Enforcement friends of C.D. and specifically ,the Richmond Cooperative Violence Reduction Partnership (CVRP) on which C.D. represented the Virginia State Police for a long period of time, extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the entire Dye family. C.D. was a true friend of us all and a great man. He will be missed by all of us.
