It's so hard to believe, he's gone. I felt like Keith. He would always be here. When ever you needed some one, you could call Kenny and he would be there. I have so many Why's but I know that he is with the Lord and have no pain. But our hearts are heavy. He has a beautiful daughter, who is loved, very much. Her Daddy will never be forgotten. And remember this Christmas, because of the birth of Jesus, we will see him again. God Bless to all. And as for my family, Jean, Gary and Brandon, Thank you for the food, cards, phone calls, prayers and beautiful flowers for my sister, her family and his daughter, Asia. Life will never be the same. We will miss him. Our Love to Deborah, Lonnie, Keith, Kyle and Asia

Thank you for sharing Kenny's life with me. I can hear him now saying
"Hey Aunt Barbara". I have so many wonderful memories with him & my boys, the vacations, pranks on his Uncle Larry & always being around.
I know there's nothing I can do to take away the pain but pray that our Loving Father will help you take that step each day.

Kenny I know you are in a better place now with no pain or illness, happy and shining your light down on us. But I can not help but feel as though a piece of my heart was taken when you were. I am glad for the time that I knew you and the good times we shared, boy did we have some crazy times with Robbie and the family. I am so glad that you got to spend the week with us at Nags head this summer and that you moved in with us even if it was for just a short period of time. Me and Robbie were really happy when you and Meredith came to live with us. Robbie commentted that he had missed hanging with you and that he enjoyed your company. To Meredith, Asia and the Provo family please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and that I share in your grief and sorrow. I am so sorry that I could not bring him back from the light that day. I hope you know that I and Meredith did everything possible to get Kenny to come back to us, I guess God needed him more in heaven than he thought we needed him hear on earth. He is now shining down upon us. And to Kenny as I know you can hear us, Me and Robbie promise to take good care of Meredith and Asia until we all meet again.
I found this poem to be comforting and it reminded me of something Kenny would say.
I Did Not Die
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain,
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
We love you Kenny and look forward to the day we meet again.

Mr. and Mrs. Provo, Meredith, Keith, Kyle and beautiful Asia Marie may you find the strength to comfort you in your time of need. Kenneth was truely a brillant person he touched everyone he met in his short life. He loved you all but expecially you Asia Marie he was so proud of you! Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
