Marjorie Atkins

ATKINS, Marjorie Bankert, 81, of Richmond, passed away April 24, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Atkins; a son and two sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Joy Calloway and her husband, Toby, of Gloucester; a son, Jody Atkins and his wife, Terry, of Powhatan; two grandsons, Hunter J. Calloway and Christopher M. Atkins; a daughter, Gloria Jean Goldencrown and her family of Maryland; three brothers, Charles, Robert and George Bankert; two sisters, Rita Harlow and Carolyne Register; and many other loving family and friends. Mrs. Atkins was a member of Jahnke Road Baptist Church, where she sang in the church choir for many years. Her family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road. A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Dale Memorial Park.
